NILD Educational Therapy

Founded in 1982, NILD's goal has been to equip individuals with learning differences to succeed academically and in life as independent learners. NILD Educational Therapy connects parents and educators in a dynamic process of equipping students with tools to build a successful life.

Method

Individualized educational therapy is given twice weekly in 80 minute sessions by specially trained and certified educational therapists using techniques that have been thoroughly researched by NILD. Emphasis is placed on the following: visual and auditory memory, becoming proficient in math, computation, spelling, reading, vocabulary, handwriting, written and oral language expression. The students' programs are individualized and prescriptive to their need.

One Child at a Time

This program was produced by faith, prompted by love and inspired by the hope and belief that every child can learn. Its core values are faith, love, integrity, commitment, and partnership.
