Last week, Miriam graduated from the University of Miami with a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education.   She says “ I couldn’t have done it without the support and prayers of family and friends. I am so thankful that I was able to live Zechariah 4:6, not by my might, nor by power, but by my Spirit says the Lord.”  Her professional growth will provide her the tools needed to work with children ages 0-5 as she continues to touch the life of one child at a time.

On 12/12/12, the inaugural Give Miami Day sparked a movement that had never been tested in our community before. Almost 5,000 donors gave more than $1.2 million to 300 nonprofit organizations that tirelessly serve Greater Miami.

This year One Child at a Time will be one of the 300 not-for-profit organizations that you can give to.

One Child at a Time is an organization was produced by faith, prompted by love and inspired by the hope and belief that every child can learn. 

It began in 2006 by our director, Miriam Jordan. Her love for children is evident by her passion, dedication, and commitment to proving students the help they need.
